Into the Ether: Astral Projection-Part I

“Spirit is the crystallization of a person’s thoughts mixed with emotions and their motives.  So when you combine a person’s thinking with their motives and their emotions mix it all up together that is what spirit looks like.”
–Bro. Nuri Muhammad
excerpted from “Spiritual Survival”
It was the Honorable Elijah Muhammad who announced to the scientific world that in order to know the origin of God you must know the origin of “air, fire, and water” because all three were present at the self-creation of the first God from triple stage darkness.  Today, the scientists of this world are seeking to understand the depth of His statement, which touches all levels of science.  Among the sciences that The Honorable Elijah Muhammad’s statement directly impacts is modern physics.  Modern physicists are seeking to resolve His statement by resolving what they have termed as the problem of the “strong and weak electromagnetic forces.”  These scientist maintain that when this problem is solved, a Unified Field Theory—a single unifying scientific theory, can be postulated that will resolve all the mysteries of the known and knowable universe.  The most intriguing mystery, from the stand point of this world’s science, than the gaining of the knowledge necessary to create life from and out of nothing.
Modern science refuses to accept or seriously contemplate the need for a medium to exist that will facilitate the propagation of electromagnetic waves.  The idea of a medium which would allow this transfer to occur was first attributed to Aristotle who called the medium “Luminiferous Ether” and believed it was what allowed electromagnetic waves (light) to travel.
Metaphysics speaks of a world record which contains all the knowledge of all those who have ever lived.  In the ancient language of Sanskrit, these records are called “Akashic Records.”  Akasha translates into the English word “sky” as well as “space” and “aether”.  The term was first utilized by adherents to theosophy and anthroposophy around 1913.  This compendium of records, memories, actions and deeds, is according to several sources, accessible at will to the spiritually enlightened and advanced.
That which exists, exists in three distinct and measurable stages—liquid, solid and gas.  That which exists as a liquid, solid or gas makes up the Chemical Region of the physical (material) world.  The physical (material) world is a three-dimensional (3-D) world that is concrete and real.  In order for that which is concrete and real to exist it has to start out in a non-real form as an image.  These images are produced by thoughts.
As the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan explained in a lecture entitled “Belief in Allah:  “An idea is a well-developed thought….When thought germinates in the mind if you don’t continue to think on the thought; then the thought without more thought only is a thought that comes and goes and you will say when somebody else comes up with the thought but thought on the thought they stole my idea….Many of you have good thoughts, but you do nothing about what you think.  So the thought was an opportunity that you blew because you didn’t do by the thought what you should have done.  You got to think on the thought and thinking on the thought is feeding the thought. Then the thought develops into an idea, and that idea has with it a plan, a scheme, a method of fulfilling and concretizing what was a mental image that had potential, but now you want to actualize what you have envisioned; but if you don’t even develop the thought into an idea, and still will not work the idea then God will give the idea to somebody else who will fulfill the idea and fulfill the vision brought by the idea.”
In an interview conducted by Bro. Cedric Muhammad with Bro. Lucius Bey Re for www.blackelectorate.com  Bro. Lucius Bey Re recounts a conversation that he had with the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad in which he was asked by the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, “What is Ether?”  Bro. Lucius Bey Re responded, “I studied a while; I said ‘rarefied air’.” He continued on in the interview stating “He (Honorable Elijah Muhammad) smiled.  He didn’t say I was right.  He didn’t’ say I was wrong.  I didn’t ask him.”
Leaving the physical three-dimensional world is not a new science or a new idea. Astral projection or astral travel as some term it, is the leaving of the physical body and the traveling in the astral plane.  The astral plane is defined as the “etheric” area of existence where the soul communes with the source of its creation and existence. But in order to grasp the immaterial we must become familiar with the material.
Upon his coming and self-revelation, Master Fard Muhammad fulfilled the scripts wherein it says he “measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven with the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance?” Isaiah 40:12 (KJV).  The results of Master Fard Muhammad’s findings can be read in the Actual Facts, Student Enrollment and Problem Book. Ultimately, the work done by Master Fard Muhammad is a precise work that facilitates a closer look at and reintroduced us to our home planet—the Earth.
The Earth weighs six sextillion tons (a unit followed by 21 ciphers), it rotates at 1,037 1/3 mph.  The scattering of wavelengths by the gases inherent in the Earth’s atmosphere gives the Earth’s sky the appearance of blue and aides in the production of the halo effect around the Earth that is visible from space.  When viewed from the “limb position” the gases in the Earth’s atmosphere appear as colors with each individual color denoting a layer of the atmosphere.
By definition, atmosphere is the layer of measurable gases that surround the planet Earth.  These gases are retained by Earth’s gravitational pull.  Functionally, the Earth’s atmosphere works to protect and sustain life on the planet—animal, plant, and human, by absorbing ultraviolet solar radiation produced by the Sun, which is 93 billion miles away. The radioactive rays of the sun known as sunlight strike the surface of the Earth every 8 min and 23 seconds.  The radiation once received is transmuted to warm the surface of the Earth through a process of heat retention known in science as the “greenhouse effect.”
The atmosphere also works in a “diurnal” manner to regulate the temperature extremes created by the rotation of the Earth in proximity to the Sun which resulting in the creation of night and day.  Air is the term used to describe the atmospheric level on which we breathe.  Air is composed of nitrogen, oxygen and argon.  Working in concert, these three gases make up the major gases present in the Earth’s atmosphere.
There are five principle layers all total to the Earth’s atmosphere: exosphere, thermosphere, mesosphere, stratosphere and troposphere.  While air pressure and density increase with the height (altitude) of the atmosphere, temperature regulation and measurement is more complex and behaves differently in higher or lower altitudes.  When the profile of temperature is consistent then it can be used as the line of demarcation to determine where the five principle layers of the atmosphere start and stop.
Exosphere: The highest altitude within the Earth’s principle atmosphere is the “exosphere”.  As the outermost layer of the Earth’s atmosphere, it is measurable from the exobase of the Earth upward.  At this altitude the atmosphere no longer behaves like a fluid and as a result particles can travel for miles without bumping into each other.  This space between the particles allows them to migrate at will into and out of the “magnetosphere or the solar wind.”
Thermosphere: “Temperature increases with height in the thermosphere from the mesopause up to the thermopause, and then is constant with height.” This is the area of rarefied air 220 -500 miles (1,100,000-2, 600, 00 ft) above the Earth’s surface.
Mesosphere: The mesosphere layer extends 50-53 miles (260,000-280,000 ft) from the stratosphere.  The mesosphere is the “ring of fire” around the planet Earth from an atmospheric stand point so called because  this is the layer where meteors and other objects that fall from space onto the Earth are usually burned up.
Stratosphere: “The stratosphere extends from the layer below it, the troposphere, to 31 – 34 miles (160,000- 180,000 ft) upward.  The pressure here is 1/1000 of sea level or 10% of sea level.
Troposphere: The troposphere is 5 miles (30,000 ft) at the north and south poles and 10 miles (56,000 ft) at the equator with some measurable variation dependent upon the weather conditions.
I will close this entry with a statement from Mother Tynnetta Muhammad from an article entitled “Crystal Mountain-Crystal Skull-A Crystal story for the 21st century”—
“To say we are composed of crystalline matter in essence with exquisite vibratory memory cells that form and shape our bodies that is drawn from the compositional matter of our earth’s sphere and planetary orbits in space may be to the average reader a little far-fetched upon hearing.  However, the deeper we explore this subject from a scientific, biochemical and spiritual perspective, the truer the above statement becomes.”

To be Contiuned….
